i'll never be good enough.
i have learned a beautiful piece on the piano. it's called Romance Sans Paroles Opus 17, No.2 by Gabriel Faure.
i have been playing it slowly and gracefully, putting as much soul and emotion as i could into it. but then i noticed that at the top "allegro molto." (oh yeah, you're supposed to read the directions first, right?) so, not know exactly how fast that indicates, i looked it up online and listened to a professional play it.
it is fast.
very fast.
i think the only kind of pieces i can play effectively are the painfully beautiful minor, slow pieces. i just can't get the whole painfully beautiful minor, fast as heck pieces.
phooey.

pff...who cares what the music says ;)
you can interpret it any way you like, and that's how YOU make it into music and really connect on a deeper level....right?..................er....maybe not :D
