I was in the mall last night doing some Christmas shopping, and I had my all-by-myself-in-a-public-place-full-of-weird-strangers-face on. You know, the one without expression that is just waiting to jump into back-off-mode if a weird teenage-mall-hanger starts looking at you? Yeah, that one. So anyway, I was walking along from Aeropostale to Charlotte Russe and I heard the Andrew Sisters and Bing Crosby start singing a Christmas carol over the loud speakers! For a moment, (but only for a moment, mind you) my a-b-m-i-a-p-p-f-o-w-s-f disappeared and a smile came over my face, my eyes lit up, and I smiled at an old man. I didn't think anybody still knew about them! It made me start thinking about how maybe this world wasn't all bad after all, and maybe some people still remember the good old days, and wouldn't it be cool if good music had a comeback...
...and as I was walking along, thinking in terms of daisies and sunshine, I saw a dark figure walking towards me that made all of the daisies and sunshine turn into maces and fog. He had long, midnight black hair, a long black coat that dragged the floor and had chains and metal studs all over it. He had black eyeliner on, black lipstick, and black fingernails.
Suddenly, I was very cold, and wondered if the Andrew Sisters and Bing Crosby existed in the same world as this...(ok, dramatic alert)...black demon.

Did you smile at him?
Are you kidding me? I avoided all eye-contact and went on the OTHer side of the carousel. ::shudders::
you. are. very. funny. too.
but this is an actual story of the frightening world of....evil people out there......
I would have started freaking out (silently) and gone into a store...with lots of people.
it's good to hear that you're ok. :D
